I love weddings!  I can’t wait to see the bride, no woman looks more beautiful then on her wedding day.  It’s so cute to see the groom trying to hold it together as he see’s his wife to be for the first time.  My favorite part of any wedding is those moments in between.  The hours before the wedding as the bride prepares to say “I do”, the moments right before the bride and groom kiss or smile.  These are the times when you get a sense of not only who the bride and groom are, but their relationship personality.

Nicole was such a calm, sure bride.  Her mother worried for both of them, worried that everything would go perfectly, like all mothers do.  You could sense that Nicole was ready and sure to marry Joel.  Joel kept himself busy with his family and vendors preparing the wedding and reception site.  He wanted to make sure everything was just as Nicole had imagined their day, all those years before.  As Nicole exited her room to meet Joel on the bridge to have a private moment  to spend with each other before the guests arrived and the ceremony began, she was so confident in her walk.  The first time Joel and Nicole’s eyes met that day, you could see that they made each other soul-fully happy.

Joel and Nicole were married in a beautiful ceremony at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu.  Together with their family and friends they celebrated that very special connection, that if lucky happens once in a lifetime.  The night flickered with candlelit tables, trees splashed in beautiful lights and flowers, and the most fun group of people dancing the night away.  Congratulations to Nicole and Joel, Chris and I wish you love and laughter throughout the years, you pretty much have that covered though.  Thank you for letting us document this special moments in your life.  Here are some of my favorite memories of their day…
