Jennifer glowed, her ruby red lips led the way for the yards of white dress that followed.   Mike stood at the opposite end of the aisle, waiting, inpatient for his bride to meet him at the end.  As Jennifer gave a final glimpse and a smile to her father, she joined her future with Mike’s.  This day, which had been years in the planning, from the time Jennifer was a little girl, and would plan her dream wedding while playing.  On this day, that dream was coming true, and the surrounding love and sounds of laughter that filled the spaces, reaffirmed their decision to say I do.  The reception was splashed with beautiful gold, teal, and red.  Every detail was accounted for, and nothing was overlooked.  The first dance, was beautiful, and echoed to a time, much like Jennifer’s lipstick, of an era where romance rained.  This was a day that they will clearly cherish as the day that marked the first day of the rest of their lives, and we cannot think of a more beautiful or loving way to start!  Thank you to Jennifer & Mike for letting us be a part of something so monumental and special.

Recently Chris and I had the honor of meeting Bre and her mom in San Diego to capture some Senior Portraits.  I felt like I had known Bre and her mom forever, and if I was 12 years younger, Bre totally would have been my new best friend!!  She is such a beautiful young woman, with a HUGE talent, and the sweetest spirit!  Her laugh totally makes you laugh!  She is the kind of girl who makes a room (or Balboa Park) light up when she walks in it!  We had such a great time spending the afternoon running around Balboa Park, and Bre does a pretty mean Ricky Bobby impression.  Bre is very involved in theater, and we know someday we will see her name in big bright lights!  Congratulations Bre on your senior year, go out and conquer the world with that smile!!

A couple weeks ago we had a great time shooting a day after session of Chris’s friend from college, Danica, and her new husband Dylan!  This couple rocks!  They are not only ridiculously sweet, but HAUTE as well!  What an amazing duo these guys are.  I love how Danica has said her fairy tale came true, that she found her prince charming.  We think Mr. Dylan also found his princess!  We had such a great time roaming the hills of their friends horse ranch, and running around the streets of Downtown Santa Barbara.  I love how these shots captured the love and happiness these two feel towards one another.  I know that Danica and Dylan will live Happily Ever After!  Here are my favorite shots of the day… more can be seen on our wedding site HERE!
