I love shooting couples in love. It gets you all warm and gooey on the inside! The more in love, and passionate, the better! Except for in those very rare circumstances where the clients are your lil’ brother and his girlfriend! Now I am so happy that these two have found each other, I have never seen my brother happier in his life. It just gets a little weird when I am choosing which kissing picture I like better! (There are some things a big sister should never have to go through)! In all seriousness though, I was so stoaked when my brother asked my to take some pictures of the two of them. This day was very special, and I felt honored to be there. In a few short days Holli will be boarding a plane back home to England to finish school for a year. It is but a brief intermission in their love story, however I know each one of their hearts is breaking a bit.
I truly believe that everything in life happens for a reason. When Tony went back up to film school at Berkeley, instead of applying to USC, we were all curious. But a few months later, he began to talk about this girl Holli he had met while there. She was an exchange student from England, and was at Berkeley for the year studying theater. I couldn’t quite put my finger on it at that point, but something in my brother’s voice had changed. A short time later, we all realized what it was, Tony had fallen in love with this beautiful girl from across the pond!
Watching the two of them together melts my heart. Really I am like a butter on warm toast. It is the best thing to see my brother in love. I love the way they look at each other, it’s the look you get when in the others eye’s you can see forever. I adore Holli, and I think she will make an amazing addition to our crazy family someday… ( wink, wink, nudge, nudge )! They will reunite when my brother heads to England this winter, and I can’t wait for that day to come for them. As my very brilliant mother always says, it seems like forever looking forward, and but a second looking back!
Here are some of my favorites… even the mushy kissing ones!
