When I was little I loved school. So much so that by August I was seriously having with drawls from homework. In college, I would get so excited to buy my books, and start checking out what the class was going to be covering that term! I am a HUGE dork, just in case you ever questioned it. Lately, Chris has been have wedding picture with drawls. He started talking about shooting a wedding several months ago in our break between the wedding season, and the next. I on the other hand knew Christmas was approaching and that meant oodles of family photography sessions! Come February Chris was still ready to shoot, and with the creation of our new wedding website (launching soon), we felt that it would be a perfect time to set up a bridal shoot. It was staged to be much bigger, and in a really gorgeous mansion in Malibu, but everything kept falling through, and I for one LOVE the way it turned out. Like my favorite weddings, intimate and gorgeous.
We shot throughout the area of Temecula and Murrieta, and had help from some amazing vendors. These gals really are at the top, and any of our brides would be lucky to have them on their wedding day. The stunning makeup was provided by the equally gorgeous and sweet Maggie Hansen. She does most our bridal shoots now, and she does phenomenal work (plus she is super fun to spend the day with). Our fabulous bouquets were created by Hannah & Amanda at Modern Bouqet. The coture gowns the girls wore were designed and created by Jamie Stephens at elysereuben.com. Her dresses are gorgeous, and her gowns have been featured in numerous wedding publications. Last but not least, that extra little touch, all the jewelry and hair accessories were donated to us for the day by an ultra chic etsy store called Belle Nouvelle Designs. Our pictures would not have turned out as fabulous as without all this very creative help!
A very special thank you to our models Sno E. (who was kind enough to bring along her fiance Kevin), & Lauren. They were all beautiful inside and out, and so much fun to work with throughout the afternoon. Sno E. is a true professional and rocks. This was Lauren’s first shoot, we asked her to step in when another model canceled, and she did a wonderful job! Here are a large number of my favorite shots from the day, but as you will see, it was REALLY impossible to pick just a few.
