Christina & Jason

June 24, 2008

Simple. Fun. Elegant. Those three words not only describes their wedding day, but it fits Christina & Jason to a “T”. Chris and I were booked for this wedding from our past client and friend Sherri, and I am so glad that she did! Christina and Jason have this wonderful way of making you feel at home, and I felt like I had known them for years. Christina was a STUNNING bride, she made my job way way to easy! Jason was a very dapper groom, very at ease and laughing the whole time. My favorite thing about this fab duo is that it was evident throughout the day how much they loved each other.

Unfortunately I had to leave early to study for a big Biology test, but I think Chris did okay. Jason’s sons Lil’ J&J took my camera and became the second shooters… I think most of the shots they got though were of each other! (Chris has pictures, it is one of the cutest things I have seen, and I now know what are kids chores will be… second shooting). I want to thank Sherri, Christina and Jason for letting us be a small part of this extraordinary day, it was beautiful, sweet and I laughed the entire time!

My favorite shots of the day…

Lil’E makes 3

June 13, 2008

A few weeks ago Chris and I did some maternity shots for Liz & Brian at the Quail Gardens in Encinitas, and it was super fun! Well this last Sunday was so much more fun because they had their baby Lil’ E and she was home and ready to pose! She did such a good job sleeping, and being cute on cue. These 3 (well 4 if you count her very sweet and furry big sister Zoe) make such an amazing family, and I am so happy they have asked us to capture both these special times in their lives. I hope that we get the chance to work with them a lot more in the future!

Here are a few of my ultra-fav’s…

Aniko & Walter

June 9, 2008

Sometimes I judge the love between two people by what they write in their vows, or the way they act when they don’t think anyone else is looking. With Aniko & Walter, the words of their family and friends, and how much they all expressed their happiness and love for this couple is how I know they will last forever.

Aniko & Walter were married at Cannon’s in Dana Point on Saturday, and wow what a FABULOUS way to get married. Everything was gorgeous from the food, to the cake, the centerpieces, the details everywhere… and not to mention the amazing view overlooking Dana Point Harbor and the Pacific Ocean. This wedding was so relaxed, simple and fun! Aniko & Walter have been together for 10 years, and this day was worth the wait! Their families and friends were so kind and happy for them, and the tears were a rollin’ from the very beginning.  Not to mention that they might be 2 of the  friendliest people I have met!

Thank you Aniko & Walter for letting us capture your special day, it was wonderful to capture the first day of the rest of your lives!!

On with the show…
