This weekend I got to hang out with my most favorite hair artist Laura and her cute lil’ family.  I love Laura, not only does she do a great job on my hair, but our mom’s have been friends since we were in high school.  Ben and lil’ Austin are the sweetest boys, and they all have so much fun together.  I have been begging Laura for months to let me take some pictures of her family for her, and she finally gave in.. haha.  We took some adorable pics for Christmas at their beautiful home, and then headed down to Old Town Temecula for some fun outdoor shots.  We let the baby sleep for a while, and got treated to a yummy lunch where our husbands wanted to go so they could get some shakes… funny thing is, I don’t think they ordered them.  Men!!  Austin even got to try his first real greasy french fry that day.  This made to a wonderful end to our hectic Thanksgiving weekend.  I can’t wait for you to see these…

Saturday I was so lucky to get to drag Chris down to San Diego and finally meet JD and Jessi’s son Aiden.  I have known JD since high school, and I absolutely adore Jessi.  She is one of the smartest and sweetest women alive.  Lil’ Aiden was adorable and so well behaved, he even peed on JD…he’s a rockstar in my book! JD & Jessi are such amazing people and parents.  They make you happy just to be around them, and they were so patient with all the pictures.  I felt so honored that they asked me to take their first family pictures.  I think they turned out wonderful, but then again JD and Jessi ooze “photogenic-ness” and love.  I am so happy lil’ Aiden is finally here…

Thanksgiving was wonderful this year.  Not only did I get to spend my first Thanksgiving as a married woman, but I also got to cook my first dinner for 12 people (and in our one bedroom condo).  It was really wonderful to have everyone from our families here, and best of all I didn’t wind up with a overcooked turkey.  On Friday, we decided to ditch the leftovers and headed out to my families house in Orange County.  What better way to spend the holidays then shooting some family photos.  I have watched Brian, Brett and Lauren grow up since they were all born…not only does that super age me, but it makes me feel very special to have them in my life (there parents too of course).  This family is so photogenic I could have taken pictures all day!
