Oh the Places You’ll Go :: Orange County Senior Photography
August 12, 2010I was told with purpose to not post these until after the lovely, smart, and very talented Lauren had sent out her senior anouncements. So now, 2 months post graduation, I have placed these photos on my blog in hopes that all her mailing is complete, and so that I can boast about what an amazing woman Lauren has grown up to be. In just a few short weeks, Miss Lauren will be leaving the familiarity of a Southern California life, and will head North a couple hundred miles to the central coast. There she will attend Cal Poly SLO, study business, and make memories and friends she will cherish for the rest of her life.
It wasn’t very long ago that this photographer was a precocious 12 year old good, who wanted a sister. Instead I had a brother, and my “Aunt” Sherry also had two boys. I thought that was it. It was me and the boys for ever. Until one day we got a phone call that told us that my aunt was having a girl!! Twelve years her senior did not bother me at all, I was getting a little more estrogen in our make-shift family! I knew that Lauren would be born on my birthday in January, however hard my mom and aunt tried to convince me of the unlikeliness of that occuring. I still knew. On January 17th, 1992 Lauren came into the world, and changed all of our lives forever. Lauren is the little sister I always wanted, and I hold a special place in my heart for her. It makes me feel so proud, and very old, that she has grown into an incredible woman. She is my kindred spirit, and I will miss her while she is at school, but I know she will do amazing things, see amazing sights, and change the world for the better.
Did I mention how stunning she is? I will eventually convince her to model… she is smokin in the photos, and I can’t wait for you to see ‘em!
